Dr. Farid Nakhle

Farid Nakhle is a PhD researcher in computational biology at Tuscia University. He has an extensive experience in artificial intelligence and extended reality. He delivered a practical tutorial on explainable artificial intelligence in the ‘Accelerating Climate Resilient Plant Breeding by Applying –Omics and Artificial Intelligence’ PhD course at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), April 2020, and in the ‘Common Data Standards and Integrative Analytic Methods for Plant Phenotyping’ PhD at SLU, December 2022. He co-designed and built a metaverse for digital agricultural biotechnology and another for wood science and technology. Farid’s science work resulted in several scientific writings in high profile journals. He is the Track Chair for Universal Access (Fintech, Education, Health) in the IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society (ISTAS23), Swansea University, September 2023.
